Marriage
Marriage in the Catholic Church is a sacrament in which a baptized man and woman freely give themselves to one another in a lifelong, faithful partnership ordered toward the good of the spouses and the creation and upbringing of children.
Through their vows, the couple becomes a visible sign of Christ’s love for the Church. God gives them grace to love one another selflessly, remain faithful, and grow together in holiness.
